Can anyone tell me how to find and empty the deleted message folder for e-mail and sms ?

There is no "deleted items" folder on the BlackBerry... once deleted, it's deleted.

The BlackBerry is not like a PC... there is no 'trashcan'.

I think I need some help with when and how to give credit where it is due.  Do press kudos and then reply or do I press kudos after I reply.  I can't find the solution button-- where is it, and when do I press that?  Please excuse my lack of knowledge about this-- I guess it dates me. Thanks.

True enough, not like a PC... If you're on BES, (Enterprise) you may have a chance of recovery but not on BIS (Internet personal).

I will think twice before I hit that delete button.  However, what puzzles me is that I deleted a video that was on both my device and the media card.  I deleted it from the device, but it also disappeared from the media card.  If I save something to memo pad, can I safely delete it from my messages?  I think so, but I will have to try that out on something I don't care about.
