Hey there...I have at the top left of my homescreen the envelope-style message icon showing I have 3 messages. Well, I've deleted all my incoming emails, texts, and phone calls.
Any thoughts as to why it's still there? Or, more importantly, how I can get it gone?
Thanks in advance!

Tips for clearing that unread message... try them in order.
If you have a rogue New Message icon on your Homescreen, or a negative count (-1), any one of these solutions could clear it, or reset it to zero:
Try these options:
1. If any post helps you please click the below the post(s) that helped you.
2. Please resolve your thread by marking the post "Solution?" which solved it for you!
3. Install free BlackBerry Protect today for backups of contacts and data.

J, I followed your suggestion and did the hard re-boot. Mission accomplished.
However, after it re-botted, I called myself, and then deleted the call from the "message" folder. It still shows I have 1 new message- the icon is back, as well as the phone icon too. When I go into the folder, it's empty.

Yes, I deleted all items in the call log, and it still shows the message icon w/ 1 message.

Yeah...and I've still got that stupid envelope at the top of my homescreen! All folders show "no messages".
