HI, I am not able to use 3G services on my bb. when i try to select 3G network my handset goes in emergency(sos) mode. Please share the settings or process to enable 3G network on my hendheld.

Tata Docomo does not have the 3G bandwidth your 9630 device has bands for.
In other words, that model is not capable of 3G in the location you are using it.

Hi, Thanks for your quick response. My location is 3G enabled and 3G services are activated on my number. My handset is showing EDGE sign on network.

You are not understanding what I am telling you.
DoCoMo is an Indian cellular service provider on the GSM network.
You are using a CDMA BlackBerry.
The EDGE data matches the phones network to DoCoMo.
The phone has a different 3G band than that DoCoMo has.
3G will not work where you are located.
