OS 5 or higher causing issues with individual sms text alerts

With OS 5..0.0.975 I hae a custom alert set for any sms text message. For select contacts I have set an individual alert to distinguish these select contacts. But, for some reason when I receive a text from these contacts it still reverts to the custom profile alert. It did the same thing on a 9330 curve with OS 6.0. My 9630 worked fine under OS 4.7. Anybody hae any ideas? Thanks

Hi and welcome to the forums!

 

I'm not sure there is an easy answer about the differences in profile setup

for device OS 4.7,OS 5.0 and OS 6.0.
