Hi there,
Im new to BBing and trying to understand email message management on my BB Tour. Can you help with these questions?
Clicking the "file" option for a selected emal message shows a choice of 3 folders: one named for my email account, one named "inbox", and one named "Spam". Instead of putting my email message into one of these folders, I would like to put it into a special folder that I name. How might I be able to do this?
What does a minus sign "-" in front of a folder name mean? e.g. "- Inbox"
Where are the email folders located? Is there a way that I can see a list of all folders and files on my BB?
Another option for a selected email message is "save". What does this mean? Where is the message saved? Why is it still shown in list of messages? Is there a way of knowing which messages in the list have been saved?

"file" option? you mean the menu key(button to the left of the trackball with the BB logo)?
as for saved messages, if you save it, it is saved in a saved messages folder, which by default is hidden and you can either unhide the icon or just hit menu and view saved message. not very convenient if its still in your inbox. but if you save it, then delete it. you can then go to menu and view saved messages and you will now see all your saved emails, even if you deleted from the inbox... unless you then delete from saved.
not sure where you are getting inbox, spam, or - signs from. have to be more specific on those

Nanci, if you highlight a message in the message list and click Menu > File, you will normally see your inbox folder and a Spam folder for that integrated email account. The - next to the accounts indicates that folder is expanded. If you click on the folder name, you will notice the - turns in to a + indicated the folder is collapsed.

Drizzt09 and JSanders,
Thanks for your explanations. They helped!
I guess, BB doesn't allow me to create my own folders, so I need to just use those provided. I haven't installed PocketMac yet, maybe that will provide more flexibility with folders?
