Unable to connect my Tour to Outlook Web Access on Exchange Server

Recent updates with exchange server has cut me off and I can't connect to Outlook Web Access to retrieve email.  All other applications like Outlook and internet browser on my laptop connect fine.  Something has changed in the protocol between BlackBerry and exchange server recently which my IT guy says he cannot resolve.  Same problem with another BB user on the system.  IT guys suggestion is to switch to another phone make but I wanted to check the forum firstly for suggestions before giving up on my BB Tour.  Thanks!
