Unable to turn on bluetooth

I'm having trouble turning on bluetooth with my new Tour phone.

I go into manage connections and check the box as instructed.  It stays checked for a few seconds, then the check disappears.  As a result, I'm not able to pair the phone with another device since it says bluetooth is disabled.

Is there something else I need to be doing?  It "seems" straightforward, but it's not working.

Re: Unable to turn on bluetooth

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!

It should not be acting that way...once you turn the BT radio on, it should stay on. Anytime random strange behaviors creep in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
