I have recently switched devices on my line. I went from a storm to a tour, in doing so before the switch my tour was activated on a line before being placed on the line is now. This device was showing the 'voicemail message indicator'* (regular voicemail), before being switched but was not cleared before the line switch. I have gone through the motions power cycle, deleting messages, and removing Visual voicemail to try to remove the old voicemail message indicator. (While trying to del messages I also called left a message and deleted it) Does anyone know of a way to clear this voicemail message indicator without switching back to the old line (One the line is no longer active and Two when vzw switches lines I get a jacked up bill that month or will be missing services) Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Tour running 4.7.1.40 on vzw device is not on BES

well... with OS .40 on the device, it's time to upgrade anyway... you'll like the results.
And, that will clear the VM waiting indicator.
