well i figured it out....RIM needs to fix it fast!!!

i downloaded the facebook and then the problem starts again....its that new facebook app

Hi piercedkany,

Before you uninstall the app what do you have listed under device services as I suggested before.

What version of device OS are you running and what version of the Facebook app are you loading?

no not resolved now i cant have fb app  bc if i do it starts all over again not letting me add or edit

I did hard reset and still.

Under the contact list its my email address and yes the number of contacts is correct.

Yes my email is a gmail account.

Under Contact list its just my gmail email address, there is no default or unknown list

mines just started doing this have had new fb app for days and its been fine but now its being a total pain it lists my email address but not the email address registered to my fone

just restored fone to factory settings and it was a complete waste of time because it didnt fix my problem really getting annoyed now!

Mine is fixed. I removed Twitter and it worked. And i reinstalled it again. Its perfectly working again. so just remove Facebook or twitter or any recently updated application

Thanks v much Nyakstar finally resolved - removed fb twitter and windows live reinstalled fb and twitter but nt fussed about windows live dnt really use it - I was gonna b making a trip 2 o2 shop 2day but no need now thank U
