hi. i am using blackberry tour 9630 verizon phone. i stay in pune. i ordrd this phone frm net.

the phone is working perfectly but the bbm services are not working. i went to blackberry care and they told me that this phone will not work here becoz its not india's blackberry. i use vodafone. my sdge is in small letters.

1ce i was goin 2 mumbai. as soon as i left pune, i got a message that u are registerd nd my blackberry services nd evrythng started working. edge oso came in capital letters nd then again i came 2 pune nd services stopd working,

i spoke 2 vodafone customer care oso many times but nothing is happnin.. smthing is wrong with my handset,

pleasehelp me with this. thanks

HI,

IN REGARDS WITH THE EDGE PROBLEM YOU HAVE.

IF IS PRE-PAID SVC THAT YOU HAVE? THIS IS WHAT YOU DO.

1.CLICK MENU, CLICK OPTIONS.

2.CHOOSE MOBILE NETWORK

3. PUT OFF DATA SERVICE

4.GO BACK TO NORMAL SCREEN

5.DO A BATTERY PULL

6.AFTER REBOOTING.

7. CHOOSE YOUR BB  PLAN

8.WHEN BB SERVICE IS ACCEPTED . PUT BACK ON DATA SERVICES. REPEATS STEPS 1 TO 4.  YOUR PROBLEM SHOULD BE SOLVED.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF IT WORK FOR U.

Hey. Thanks a lot for ur support but the thing is that bbm of vodafone in bb verizon phone does not work in pune.
I purchased a new airtel sim nd activated the plan nd evrything is working prfctly.
