I have an unlocked tour from sprint and I'm in Germany. I tried the ##000000 and it said "invalid password" Any other solutions? Thanks in advance!

i have a 9550 that i purchased online. it was never activated by verizon and I live in Barbados

Verizon support says that the mep code is generated when the phone is activated so they cannot help!

anyone have any ideas?

The two networks that operate in Barbados are both gsm!

I changed the full 10 digit Verizon number to my local GSM number, saved it , immediately the phone was restarted and it's magic.........."activation required" gone & 1st time it shows the name of my service provider.

There are hundreds of reported issues with this.
