by any chance did you try to charge with a different charger.. If yes & if you're too sure that it has to do with device charging port.. well, better visiting the place where you purchased the device from.. if device is withing the warranty they may help you.

Check with ur insurance company...normally, the insurance is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase(even if u have claimed insurance once before 1 year)...
