video formats available to be played on device

im trying to get a movie on my phone and format is not correct any idea on which formats do work?  mpeg-4 doesnt?

so where do you find movies that are in H.264 codec format?

 

since this looks like the only video format the tour has?

I've no clue where you would obtain videos. Plus, the Tour supports much more than that -- it's just recommended to use that as the optimal codec for the device. You can use the RIM Desktop Software Roxio Media Manager program to transcode many video files into the optimal format for your BB.
