What sort of return can i expect off an application? (obviously it depends what it does)
But, for example - are there any developers who have made an application and can tell me the sort of sales they receive per month?
Am i better pricing it at £2.35 for higher volumes of 'impulse' buys?
Does including screenshots or a free-trial help?
I am wondering if its worth the development costs, initial £200 to RIM, and the time i need to invest.
Any advice appreciated!

I have tryed every store possible in quite every platform
and I can tell you that BB App Store is the #1 store...
I sell more in one week on App Store than I sold in a month on other store.
If people likes your software, App Store is the store who can help you better
in selling it. Don't forget that App Store ask you only 20% if your income.

OK So I think I will go with AppWorld.
Do you think it is reasonable to expect 15-20 sales per month for an application?
I have no idea what sort of customer-base numbers to expect.

It really depends on how the market transposes your software...
I know people on App Store with a really complex/good software who haven't sold a copy for a month
but if people likes your software be sure to sell a lot of copies even much more than you expected ![]()

Do you think if I wrote a spam filter - subject/to/from/body filtering through key words and give it a professional interface and sold it for £2.35 (current and one on appworld is £20+) I could expect sales of 10-15 units per month? is this too ambitious or not?

10/15 sales month means that your software doesn't like to the BB community because if they like
if you will sell at least 10 times that number.
A spam filter... mmm..
I don't know, good spam filter are usually used in the server side part and really few people
prefer the client side part but if you wrote a good product, why not ...

If I could move 150 units a month that would be amazing, well I have a few ideas so I will give it a go i think.
Thanks for your advice, anything else I should know before I get cracking?!
