BlackBerry 10 version metrics

Does BlackBerry World publish statistics about the devices/OS versions that are downloading apps? I know there used to be a breakdown for BBOS, and PlayBook had a statistic along the lines of "90% users upgrade to the latest OS within a month".

I haven't been able to find figures for BB10. With 10.1 out, and 10.2 on its way, it would be nice to know what the upgrade rates are.

Re: BlackBerry 10 version metrics

I don't have those numbers but wanted to point out they won't mean the same as the PlayBook's upgrade rates. Unlike on the PlayBook the BB10 updates are currently held back for testing by some slow carriers (e.g. Verizon in the US) so you can't draw good conclusions about the number of users who voluntarily upgrade. If you just want to know ratios of "extant" users you could glean that info from download stats when you issue an update to your own apps.

Eric Harty regularly publishes stats of one of his apps: http://news.ebscer.com/category/statistics/

Re: BlackBerry 10 version metrics

I stumbled across https://developer.blackberry.com/appworld while looking for something else.

As of July 2013 77% are running 10.1, which seems to match ebscer.com's numbers for that month.

Can someone from BlackBerry comment on how often these numbers are updated?
