BlackBerry R049? What's that?

I'm so intrigued about an very rare simulator, the R049. I have not downloaded it because its size, it shows that runs OS 7. So, will this be a future smartphone? Anyone has tried it?

Re: BlackBerry R049? What's that?

I am pretty sure that this is either the 9220 or 9230 which are the new small screen curve devices that RIM is releasing this spring. I think that the R49 is the 9230, and the R48 is the 9220. The 9220 was officially announced by RIM earlier today, and I believe that the 9230 is only trivially different.
