Re: BlackBerry World US home page broken?

The link https://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/ does not work for me. It redirects to the page which shows the XML.

Checked with firefox, chrome and IE 10, and also using wget from a server.

Same here.

But, if I remove the 's' in "https:" and only use the "http:", it works fine.

Re: BlackBerry World US home page broken?

One person beyond myself has already verified this to be a real problem. It is clearly a server-side issue that should be investigated by someone who actually works at BlackBerry and is in a position to diagnose and hopefully fix the problem.

Yes it does, but that IS the problem. As I have said in ealier post, https used to work before the last change. IIRC it was even the default mode some time back (when you accessed the http home page it used to forward to https).

Thus, there would be hundreds or maybe thousands of links to the https page of apps in blogs, social media and likewise all of which have now become useless.

Well there are quite a few here who do work for BlackBerry : like @MSohm, @gbeukeboom, @MahendraDJ and many more. Even Ryan is sometimes active on this forum.

Re: BlackBerry World US home page broken?

I'm from Brazil and I got a Z10 last month, and I notice the webstore is totally bugged. When I'm logged in there's a long broken list of devices over the page. I can normally search at the bottom of the page. But if I choose an app to download when the site is in brazillian (It detects my location automatically), it just won't work. I need to change to english everytime. also I need to login several times, which is pretty annoying...

Are you blackberry guys aware of this? I tried on several machines and browsers, including OS X's safari. Aways the same problems.

Thanks!

Grespon
