Community Port-A-Thon

I am very concerned with the waiting time for the Community event, as I've received the email with the accepted apps, but it was highlighted that only apps approved by 25th January will get the rewards, but it has been 8 days since I've submitted 5 apps and for none I didn't get any feedback.

 

If there are any problems with either of them I won't have time to solve them, because I have an app that was submitted on the 4th January that had a bug, got feedback 2 weeks after and now its been 4 days since I've fixed the bug and re-submitted the release with no answer or approval?

 

Am I to expect that none of my apps from Community event won't be approved because RIM has too many apps to approve then they expected?

 

That I do not find it fair.

Thats true.. i have to fix 2 apps of the All aboard Port-a-thon and i resubmited the 4 of january and was approved yesterday.. so i think that the only chance that we have to be rewarded is that our apps was approved in the first submision...so good luk!

They said they will be extending certain deadlines as necessary. I wouldn't be too worried. I believe they will give you a chance to fix bugs, too, within a reasonable amount of time.

I got 24 apps (community and android portaton) but till today, I haven't heard anything about review process :smileysad:

Yeah same here.. have 22 apps from Community port-a-thon. got reviewed 2 days after event finished, all needed UI fixes, submitted fixed versions same day - and nothing.. its been 8 days now and no review yet.. 

 

Its getting too close to 25th Jan blackberry!!
