When you got your free Developer Playbook did it come inside of a little carrying pouch?

Cause mine didn't yet I know 4 developers who haven't gotten their free playbook yet every single one of theirs came in a little pouch...

When I contacted BlackBerryPlayBookOffer@tmgideas.com about it their response:

"Hello,

We ship commercially available BlackBerry PlayBooks which do not have special pouches.

when I replied that one of my developer friends came with one and I watched him open the sealed box....  Then their response was:

Hello,

I am unsure how he got a pouch, but we do not provide those with the device.  It is possible it was a manual error in picking the item at the fulfillment house.

Well I know that 4 of my developer friends came with one so thats alot of errors in the fullfillment house...

Well, mine came with a little pouch. Black on the outside, blue on the inside and it's pretty neat... I guess I'm just lucky!

I believe all PlayBooks shipped in the last year or so, at least until recently, had a "pouch".  Just google for "PlayBook unboxing pouch" images to see lots of examples.

On the other hand, it's remotely possible that they have started shipping packages that don't contain that in general, in which case you wouldn't get one and could do little more than grumble at your bad luck in the timing....

You might want to check what the thing is called, because this is the first time I've heard it called a "pouch".  Maybe that's what confused them.  "Sleeve" is more common, I think.

(FYI, I've dealt with 8 PlayBooks personally and all had this little nylon sleeve.)

well one person got theres before me and the other 3 got theirs after me one got it yesterday so...

They are the ones that called it a pouch... i jusrt emailed them a pic and the responded with pouch

I'm not talking about what your friends called it, I'm talking about the name you used for it in communicating with tmgideas.com.

Maybe they misinterpreted the question because they've never heard it called a "pouch" before. Anyway, send them a couple of links to the photos and ask them again whether it should have included the pictured "pouch" or "sleeve".

my friends didnt call it.... I am referring to what BlackBerryPlayBookOffer@tmgideas.com called it... I just emailed them a picture and they are the ones that came back calling it a pouch...........  My friends didnt call it anything.. I just asked them if their Developer Playbook came with the pouch/case and they said yes........

Wow, so you're saying TMG Ideas people saw an actual picture, and claimed those have never gone out in any of the PlayBooks they've shipped?

Maybe try reaching a supervisor or something. Clearly the person you're talking to is delusional.

My Playbook was shipped from tmgideas and it came with a sleeve. That was in the beginning of March.

So now goes from a Pouch to a Sleeve
