Error Starting 'appName': Module 'appName' attempts to access a secure API

[ Edited ]

Dear All,

I have uploaded some apps to app world. when i try to install on the device, there is an error "Error starting Sunfish6: Module 'Sunfish6' Attempts to access a secure API". I've tried to update the files it needs, but always get the same error message. what is the cause of the appearance of the error message? I developed this application using phonegap framework and the webwork blackberry.

Thanks & Best Regards.

Re: Error Starting 'appName': Module 'appName' attempts to access a secure API

hello Adwiv :smileyhappy: ,

Thanks for your answer and your link,

I have been getting "code signing key" of RBB, RCR, and RRT. I also have tried to run in the simulator and the device directly using SignatureTool in blackberry webwork, and running smoothly. but when I tried to upload my app to the app world, it can not run after I install it and the error message as I pointed out earlier. so, what should I do?

Thanks and Regards

In the webworks eclipse menu, select Project -> BlackBerry -> Sign with Signature Tool.

Then upload the generated files.
