I need help on setting the purchase URL for any blackberry application.
Support I am having an application which is using try and buy approach. User is using the trial version. I have given a purchase button in my app so that if user wants to purchase the application he can click on the url and the user will be redirected to that url for purchase.
I want to know that how can I set the purchase url before submitting the first release of my application?

What you should do is create a listing for the app in AppWorld, but don't yet submit your app. This will allow you to create virtual goods for in-app purchaes prior to actually completeing and sumbitting your final app.

Sorry to be a pain but can someone clarify step by step how this works. My app has in-app payment options.
I created an app.
I submitted it to app world BUT turned off the automatic submit - ie: draft
Its now sitting as a product waiting for review.
I created virtual goods.
I would like to test the payment process. What happens next? Do I submit for review? I cannot test by installing to my phone because all in app payments can only come from apps installed through app world and this app is in draft.
Is the app id you talk about the id in the link to view my product? As in:

If you want to test the purchase.
Just open appworld, wait for to load and press
hold alt then tst
Then type the SKU for your app, as long as your BBID is added as a sandbox user on your vendor portal it will bring you to the app page even though its in draft mode.
Download, then test.

wow, you learn so much through these forums!
Sadly though when I do that on my curve it says:
We cannot connect you to Blackberry App World. Please ensure that your device is connected...
Which it is. I have active BIS AND my WiFi on. Any suggestions from here?

(Insert slapping my head) emoticon here for not reading the word "sandbox" in your previous post. Tx, got it to work AND thankfully found some bugs in the process.
