Just wondering... how long to get an app onto the app world?
Android - instant.
Apple - once you get around their rules, generally less than a week.
RIM - so far going on two weeks. I saw the testers from India log in and then the app was just put into limbo.
One would think that RIM would take anything given the state they are in... guess they can still drag their feet.

For a new app approval typically takes 10 business days.
For an update, it typically takes 1 business day.

I have been waiting for more than three weeks for just an approval as a vendor (free apps, and still waiting). Then, three more weeks for getting my app approved. What is this about?. Do they really want developers uploading apps? I do not think so.

Thanks for the link, Jordan!
My apps and new releases that were awaiting approval were all approved, and I have noticed that the approval turnaround has been much faster over the last few weeks compared to what it was in early January/late December. From weeks+ down to less than 24 hours in some cases.
Thanks App World team for getting back up on top of things!
