How to report spam from vendor?

PlayViet is spamming PIN numbers of people found on this forum with messages about their apps.

How do we report them to BlackBerry?

Is there a way to add single PIN numbers to the firewall?

Re: How to report spam from vendor?

Are they pulling PINs from this forum users' profiles?

And then spamming with BBM broadcast messages? or what?

Re: How to report spam from vendor?

I would report it to the moderators or community admin for your developer forum area.

Like to MSohm, for instance. Send him a Private Message with this information and let him handle it.

[ Edited ]

I don't belong to this forum and I just got spammed by the same vendor. :smileysad:

What I would like to know is how did they get my PIN?  I never use it and I don't download apps from BlackBerry either.

Also, how do I block playviet@gmail.com on my BlackBerry?

Please use plain text.

You report the email for spam to your email provider.

Meanwhile, I'll also ask the moderators to look in to this.

Re: How to report spam from vendor?

Sorry, I should have clarified.

I didn't receive an e-mail, I got a text on my BlackBerry and I don't see an option on how to block or mark as Spam.

Re: How to report spam from vendor?

You got a text?

Or a BBMessenger message?

Since you ONLY joined this forum today, how would this spammer have gotten your information from this forum, you only joined AFTER you got the spam message?

Re: How to report spam from vendor?

My initial assessment was that the spammer must have gotten the PIN from here, but mine is also published in the Beta Zone, so that may be where it got it.

The result is the same, that vendor is ill behaving and should be officially warned by BlackBerry.
