I have a BB Dev Alpha 10 device and current OS version is 10.0.4.188. Please help me how can i upgrade this to higher version ? thanks.

i am using Macbook pro and connected bb10 device to my macbook with a usb cable.. but I am not able to get any prompt. Also when I click on update software in BB10 device it shows as OS version is 10.0.4.188 latest. Please help thx

On this page https://developer.blackberry.com/blackberry10devalphas/update, go to the heading troubleshooting and follow the steps to repair for Mac. If the regular update does not work, repair works.

you can update it by bb desktop software

install the latest version of blackberry desktop software and then connect your device to to your pc and then open the software ..wait for 2 minutes ,a pop up will come asking to update .

click update.

process will continue for some time .phone will reboot and you are done

your device is updated .
