On a related note, I received my payment today but the amount was very little. I've sold over 400 copies since April 27th at $2.99 each. So I was expecting somewhere in the vicinity of $900, yet all I got was around $67. What's even weirder is that it came in 2 payments. One for the amount of $2 and change, and another for $65 and change. What is going on?

If they work anything like MobiHand, they would compute royalties for sales periods on month boundaries. MobiHand figures out how much was sold by the end of the month, but issue payment for the month on the 13th or so of the following month. So what may have happened is that App World closed the sales period on the end of April, but since you have only been selling since the 27th, you are only being paid for the sales from April 27-30 (4 days). The rest of your revenue for this month should be paid out next month. Just my speculation.

I got a payment too, but it was only for the month of April.  It was exactly 80% of my total sales (as expected).

If you look at the Digital River ePen reports, they separate US sales versus everyone else.  Say if my US sales were $10,000 and my all other country sales were $5,000, that would be two separate payouts.  Oh, and make sure your paypal is not a personal account or you are capped to only be able to receive $500!!!  It needs to be a premium or a business account...so they can get a % from you too :-)

Nope...but that's a monthly maximum, though... so if you only expect to get less than $500 a month then you won't have an issue. And the percentage depends on how much you get a month but expect to pay 2.5 - 2.9%.  Not too bad if you think about it...it's either that or not get your money at all. 

Paypal will send you a notification if AppWorld (or anyone else) tries to give you a payment and you reached your limit so you can wait to upgrade until that happens if you want.
