Question about App World featured apps

Hi, can anyone clarify me if the App World carousel on playbook is the same for all the countries, I mean does it show the same apps?

One of my apps was supposed to get featured yesterday, but I did not see it happen.

Re: Question about App World featured apps

You can check the featured apps in Web App World, you will see all of them without region restrictions. If you see your app there but it is not visible on your device, then there is country specific featured apps.

Re: Question about App World featured apps

Is not helpful.. Web App World shows bb phones specific apps in the featured list. My question is about the App World app for bb playbook.

Re: Question about App World featured apps

My bad, you are right, PlayBook apps are not visible in Web.

What's your app name? You can send it to me with PM, I will check it on my PlayBook (region Europe)

Re: Question about App World featured apps

With Version 3.0 of AppWorld the ability to feature apps in only some regions was added. I don't know of any instance of them actually doing it.

Re: Question about App World featured apps

Our Files & Folders PlayBook app is featured on the web, but doesn't appear in the carousel in App World on the PlayBook for some reason. In fact, the carousel on the web is entirely different to the carousel in App World.

BTW: if you log in to App World on the web, it will display apps compatible with your device(s). If you only have a PlayBook asociated with your account, you'll only see PlayBook apps.

Re: Question about App World featured apps

I've been told that apps can be featured by region (e.g. north america).
