I want to submit an upgrade to my application. I can see three things i want to change.
- the appworld icon/screenshots.
- the appworld description.
- the application itself.
Is there a procedure to do this all at once?
I entered a new release for my application and uploaded the .bar file. The next step would be to select that release and 'Submit for review'. But i hadn't changed the description or screenshots yet.
So i cancelled out of submitting for review and went in to change my appworld icon/screenshot/description. But as soon as you'are done with that it immediately sends the Ticket in to review those Appworld Info Changes.
Am i supposed to wait until the info changes are complete and then send my release in for review? That means that the info and app versions will be out of sync for whatever timeframe it takes the release to be approved?
Or is there some way to submit all this information all at once?

Uh oh. i was assuming release notes were a private field for myself so i knew what i had changed.
Can someone point me at an app that used release notes so i can see how appworld formates the division of 'description' and 'release notes'?
And is there any way for me to change those release notes after the fact?
One other question about upgrade releases.
My app is currently 'up for sale'. I uplaod a new release and 'submit for review'. When it is finally approved will the new version automatically be up for sale? Or will i have to do one final action to put it up for sale.

Am i blind and completely missing something?
I'm talking about looking at Appworld through a web browser or on the Playbook only. No other devices.
- I do not ever see the release notes field for any app (neither web browser nor playbook appworld)
So i'm left with two unappealing options.
a) I update my screenshots/description first. Once it's approved i upload the updated app which goes into the queue. Until it is approved (could take days... weeks... who knows) my description is for version 2 but if a user downloads the app they get version 1 and think i liked about the features.
b) i upload the updated app first. Once it's approved i update my screenshots/descriptoins which goes into the queue. The current users get notifications to upgrade. They go to update and see no mention of anythign new. They are confused. Later when the screenshots/description is approved (could take days... weeks... who knows) the description and app are now in sync but those confused people don't know to go look at the description for new features since there is no notification when you just change the description.
Am i correct or am i missing something?

Thank you for the reply. I can live within the system now that i know i'm not doing it wrong.
So is there any plan to change/update this in the future?
Either to add the ability to view release notes on playbook or to allow simuntaneous update of description and apps?
