Hello,
Has anybody an indication how long it takes RIM to approve an application? An estimate would be nice.
Thanks.

Hi,
the last time I asked the storefront managers they told me it's about 8-10 business days and that's a pretty good match as far as my experience goes.

Wow.. That's quite a long time. Considering that they can't be that busy ;-)

While dev tools for Java and AIR theirselves generates the proper release files, I couldn't find similar functionality with Web tools. I always had to ZIP all needed files manually in that case and use CMD tools to finalize the app.
Can you confirm that the release file was signed? Open the file with winzip and check the number of manifest files.

Well when I package and sign with ripple it says that the build was successful and that java signature tool has signed all 60 files....
and i also get a tone of emails confirming that it has been successfully signed...
but the zip file that ripple makes, only has my config.xml file and the files that are used for my web apps....

I want to make sure I'm doing this right, so I've included some videos of what i did...if anyone who has uploaded an app to vendor portal before (this is my first time), please help me...
this is a video of what I've done...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HEbrieh4ibg
and this is a video of what ripple packaged...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=66PWqFyb83A
so my questions is...when i go to vendor portal and release my product, I have already uploaded the <StandardInstall> Folder <cod file>, which splits it into 19 or 20 cod files.
But the zip file which has my web app in it (Part 2), is unable to upload..."error invalid file type"
(which essentially is all my web application)
do you mean i have to zip each file of my webapp?
I'm so confused.. ![]()
