Hello,

  My OS is Vista 64bit. Have jdk 1.6 & installed Blackberry JDE 4.7. I tried 2-3 applications and things are going fine. Except, the emulator. After I am testing the application on emulator, I press Esc, the application is closed, main menu comes, now to close the emulator, I click "x", File-Exit, Close but in any ways, it doesn't close. I have to compulsory click "Stop Debuging" from JDE to stop the emulator and go back yo development phase.

  Any idea why does this happen and how to overcome this problem.

It's a known issue, I remember seeing posts about it around here.

The only way to quit the emulator on Vista & Windows 7 64 bit is to bring up task manager (control-alt-delete) and kill the process "fledge.exe".
