I'm literally stuck on this one. I forgot the password to my old signing key, so I requested a new one.
After signing my app with the new key I can't upgrade my product.
I get :
File bundle (YOUR_NAME) has been rejected. Package ID is required for all .bar file. If this is an upgrade, Package ID must match Package ID in original file bundle.
Is there a way to fix this without starting a new product? Or is there someone from the support team I can contact to reset the package ID?

yes, there is. it's the second option, you contact the support. plus, you were not the only one with that problem
. see the thread here (most important is the last post on the first page)

Wow that's a great discovery.
I edited to the MANIFEST.MF but got another error when I try to upload.
No manifest. null System.exit calls not allowed!
I've tried to copy the exact package-* section, and even left the application-* and "Entry-Point-Name" the same in my bar file, but no luck. Any ideas?

IMO it sounds like the vendor portal couldn't recognize the manifest file. so either you made a typo in it, or you took the signed .bar file with the manifest and edited that. if it was the second possibility: you can't edit a file after signing. you have to create an unsigned .bar file again, edit the manifedst there and then sign it again
good luck ![]()

well, i'd say try to contact the support. tell them your story, give them your old and your new package-id and then you'll have to wait. or maybe, if you can find rhearty here in the forums, he was the one i had to contact when i had the same problem as you (plus, it worked after like a week)
if you don't, all the people who downloaded your old product can't update, and also the ones who bought your product (if not free) would have to pay again ![]()
