I am making an app for a client who has their own blackberry appworld vendor account. If I sign apps for this client using my own signing keys (obtained when I set up my own vendor account), will we encounter any issues or have the app rejected? This will be a WebWorks/Cordova project.
In summary: are signing keys linked with specific vendor accounts and thus non-transferable?
I believe when you create the key, the organization name must match exactly the vendor name as used in the vendor portal. If that's true, then apps signed by a different vendor's key couldn't be uploaded to a given account.
there are no issues with this, I've done it before. Only issue is the client cant upload a new version of that app that is not signed using your signing keys. RIM has a workaround but its a hassle
