Web AppWorld links does not work in Playbook

When you click on a AppWorld Web link from Playbook you get a message "This item is not supported by your current device profile"

Try this link : http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/content/78549/?lang=en

It is a Playbook only application.

Remove the language part of the link

http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/content/78549

This should work now

Re: Web AppWorld links does not work in Playbook

You need to use the browser evoke function from the playbook - this works

   var url = "http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/content/" + appId;

    try {
        var args = new blackberry.invoke.BrowserArguments(url);
        blackberry.invoke.invoke(blackberry.invoke.APP_BROWSER, args);
    }
    catch (e) {
        alert('exception (Appworld): ' + e.name + '; ' + e.message);
    }

Dont forget the confif.xml statements - at least one or more of these is required - sorry can't remember which one it is

 <feature id="blackberry.identity" required="true" version="1.0.0.0"/>
  <feature id="blackberry.invoke.BrowserArguments" required="true" version="1.0.0.0"/>
  <feature id="blackberry.invoke" required="true" version="1.0.0.0"/>

And remove the "https", use only "http"
