Re: Where are they on the backlog? Report submission dates of recent approvals.

Exactly. I have also pending ticket from February 28. So it is definitely not FIFO but some random drawing.

Most likely they splitted tickets into chunks and these chunks are processed by multiple testing companies. It could explain why it is not FIFO.

I hate to bring down the party, but I am still waiting on two updates from February. Finding out that they are being skipped over is actually a sign that things are getting worse...

Re: Where are they on the backlog? Report submission dates of recent approvals.

One of four of my app updates submitted in February was recently approved.  The other three remain untouched.  These are very minor updates to things like icons and splash screens.  Regardless of the underlying test house process, highly variable and non FIFO app approval times are bad for vendors, customers, and the ecosystem IMO.  The more predictable the approval times, the better vendors can help make BlackBerry handset owners happy with their device.

Re: Where are they on the backlog? Report submission dates of recent approvals.

Hi thubalek,

Same experience here. I had two transit apps in for review, one 4 days later than the other. The second one has already been approved (one for Thunder Bay), the other (Toronto) is still stuck in the queue somewhere days later.

Irony is, that they are fundametally the same app, skinned for the locality and with different datasets... It would have made much more sense for the testers, for me to have batch submitted them so that the same tester got both apps but there's no mechanism for that sadly.
