Recent experience is that it's taking App World 2% to 3% of a year to update a description. Updated means that it shows in both the web store and the store app.
At MobiHand, I can update both the app and description for the web store in 1 minute, and the mobile store gets it the next day.

Yikes. This scares me. I'd better make sure my description is right before they approve my app...

I've seen this pretty much always updated within one business day, which I feel is pretty reasonable.

Hmm...seems to be different for everyone. I posted a small change (re-ordering screenshots). I'll let you know how long it takes.

I've had it take 3 weeks. Really, really bad. Same for changing devices the product is released for...

There are some still pending after a week, and of course a bunch about 4 days old. What I really don't get is why one which was closed about 4 days ago is still showing the old description in the mobile store. I updated App World, cleared caches, reset the phone, but still the old stuff.
Maybe they're just very busy with the Playbook launch, I hope attention goes back to their phone business before long.
makahn64, about editing device compatibility, for me it works for latest releases, but for older ones it goes right back to what it had been.
P.S. ooh, ahh, one just got closed...

I'm starting to think that if you're not writing an app for the Playbook, then RIM doesn't give a **bleep**. Hopefully everything goes back to normal after launch tomorrow.
PS. I'm extremely annoyed with RIM lately, but I still can't wait to get my Playbook ![]()
