Hi all,

quick question. i just updated my app for Version 1.0 to vertion 2.0. i sumbitted to app world and got it approve, and the new version is now live on app world. my issue is, it was never  pushed to my that there is a new version of the app avilable. do i need to do any thing on the app world GUI or in the app to have new release notifications pushed by app world?

So how do we send notifications about new releases on BB10?

There is nothing you need to do. BBW is suppose to alert the user, but it seems real sketchy right now. Some times I get notified, some times I have to open BBW to get notified, some I never get notified. Logically, once it get approved and released, push notifications should go out.

It could take around 36 hours for the update to move through the cache on the server.  Not sure how long it has been for you yet.
