"You've Completed your first step towards a free blackberry playbook tablet"

I recived an email stating that "You've Completed your first step towards a free blackberry playbook tablet" and that "Your app submission has been successfully received by the team at BlackBerry App World, putting you on the road to qualify for the free BlackBerry PlayBook Tablet Offer 2012. The BlackBerry App World team reviews each app based on the Vendor Guidelines and we’ll notify you as soon as we have determined if your app qualifies for the free tablet offer."

How long till it gets accepted/denied? (on avarage)

7 to 10 days then up to 5days once it has been approved to get the email asking for playbook shipping details.

Odd, I submitted my new app on Feb 8th and I received some generic email: This email acknowledges the submission of the product named: 'XXXXXX' and 1 new release(s) for the product. Another email will be sent as soon as any updates are made in the approval process. Sincerely, The BlackBerry Team" I met all the deadlines for the free playbook offer, and the app meets the terms and conditions, but I'm curious given the very different wording in my acknowledgement email (specifically no mention of qualifying for the free playbook) if RIM is actually going to send one or not. I emailed the developer outreach email address too.

Re: "You've Completed your first step towards a free blackberry playbook tablet"

After email notification "Submission Receipt", if your app approved, you will receive email notificaiton "File Release Approved".

And after "File Release Approved", you will get a email "shipping detail your playbook."

Thanks for the clarification.  I was just concerned I was on some other approval track that didn't lead to the Playbook.

Re: "You've Completed your first step towards a free blackberry playbook tablet"

Thanks for the clarification lastone. I was in the same position as medianomicon - just the submission receipt so far and a ticket in the (assumed to be bloody large at this point) queue.
