Would be nice to know what the problem is and why it is taking 3 weeks to fix it? Hardware, network, database, software... Why there is not redundancy in their services is also interesting to know.

Dear Vendor, Over the last 3 weeks we have been experiencing problems with the Download and Purchase reports available through the Vendor Portal. We are continuing to work on a permanent fix to the root problem. To help mitigate the recent lack of reports, we have generated both Download and Purchase reports for all of your applications for the month of December (EOD December 22nd, 2010). We have also generated the Purchases report for the entire month of November. You can find these in the Vendor Portal, under Download Reports. We sincerely apologize for the delay in a full resolution, but we expect to be back to fully functional reporting very shortly after the New Year.

Thanks a lot for the update. I guess they generated reports only for your applications. Was it based on a support ticket request? If so, could you please point me to the page where I can submit a ticket as well. I am unable to find the link.

I just don't understand how RIM can work like that where us devs are b*tching everyday now. How can reports go down every quarter and we hear nothing about it. Is it that difficult just put up a msg when we login and say reports are down. does it really take 3 weeks to fix the same bug over and over again? It would really like to know the person in charge of appworld.
