I too am VERY angry that I cannot delete my credit card information from my "My World" account. This situation is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS and is NOT ACCEPTABLE!
Its about time that someone at Blackberry got this sorted out, surely it cannot be that difficult in this
day and age with all the technology about.
I WANT to be able to delete my credit card details from the phone and the app world.
I did read somewhere that BBis trying to work on this but that was printed back in 2011, so maybe
someone might know if there has been any progress.
I did delete App world and re install under a different e mail address and password but I notice
the last 4 digits of the credit card is still shown on the handset.

Once a credit card or PayPal® account is associated in the BlackBerry® ID payment options for use with BlackBerry App World™, there is no method of removing that association.
This is a previously reported issue that is being investigated by our development team. No resolution time frame is currently available.

I'm angry too, now that I've learned about this. I purchased a Playbook for my mother-in-law who is visiting from Serbia, and used my credit card to install apps under her Blackberry ID.
Now I NEED to remove the credit card info, because she will not think twice about handing this out.
For gods sake RIM, this has been on your buglist for a while and the fix is SIMPLE - let us DELETE information. Wrap it up in legalese about no refunds if you want but sheesh .... this is a horrible situation to put us in!
