APP Provider wants Device PIN

After Purchasing an App in Blackberry App World the Softwre did install but not run.

Now the App provider wants the receipt email, what is OK.

But he also wants the device PIN. Is it OK to provide the Device PIN to somebody, or is there any risk?

Re: APP Provider wants Device PIN

when you install an application on your device, and that application goes on the internet, you can consider that they have your PIN. So yes, either you trust the editor, and give them your PIN and use the app, or you do not trust the editor, and do not install their app.

Thanks very much. Maybe I understand the process better now.
