I have just done an upgrade of my BB Appworld and the icon on my home page has dissappeared. I have deleted and reinstalled on three occasions doing hard reboot but my icon is still missing.

Sorry to hear you are experiencing an issue with locating your BlackBerry App World™ storefront icon.

Please verify that the icon is not hidden by pressing your menu button on the home screen and selecting show all. Also check your folders to see if the icon may have been accidentally moved.

If you are still unable to locate the icon, please reinstall the application by going to www.blackberry.com/appworld on your BlackBerry® smartphone Browser and reboot your device.

Thank you for your help I should have updated the post as I went to Crackberry and found the solution by reloading the previous version of app world it would seem that the version downloaded has known problems.
