Hello everyone.
I know we were encountering this problem for quite some time now and still no solution is being offered. I hope you do not mind me sharing what I did to somehow resolve the issue (if not fully resolve).
The lost apps can't be downloaded using wired connection so what I did was reacquire them using wireless connection instead and I am now enjoying the apps again.
Might help.

I have a BB 9530, and none of the restart, re-download, re-install has worked. Right now Im not sure what will I get first, an answer which helps me with this, or an I-phone which has none of these problems...

I'm not sure if you ever came right, but I had the same issue. This happened after upgrading Blackberry App World on my Torch to release 3.0.
Want I did to fix the issue is to use Blackberry Desktop Software to downgrade Blackberry App World on my device to release 2.1.2.19. I basically used the desktop software to remove Blackberry App World and then used it to add it again.
After that I never had the issue again.

Hi,
I haven't seen a fix if you stay on App World Release 3. I have tried it with both IE and Firefox. My only option was to use the desktop software to downgrade (remove release 3 and install release 2).
I've never seen the error since downgrading.
