I have probably changed a simple setting, but I have no idea why the App World has disappeared, my Blackberry Messenger is not working and I'm not receiving any emails. My blackberry bold crashed a few times over a weekend, not long ago, it seemed to only display a white screen. Since then I have been having problems. Please may someone dumb down an explanation of how to help!

Hi,
Are your Data Services On?
Go to Options >Mobile Network and set Data Services to ON.
Also, try performing a Hard Reset. It usually solves most of the 'icon diasppearing' problems. Remove your battery for 30 seconds and then replace it.
Or you could simply go to www.blackberry.com/appworld and re-install Blackberry App World.
Let us know what happens.

Hey,
You also mentioned earlier that BBM and mail services are not working.
Go to Options> Advanced Options> Host Routing Table.
Press the Menu button and select 'Register Now'.

Hey,
Did you receive a message in your main Messages saying that 'the handheld was registered' ?
Are you using BIS or BES?

Hey,
Nope, no message.
I have no idea if I'm using BIS or BES. So sorry, I'm useless!

Hi again,
Does your Blackberry connect to your company's server(BES)? Or is it your own personal device(BIS)?
Go to Manage Connections> Services Status> and see if the Blackberry Internet Service(BIS) or Blackberry Enterprise Server(BES) is connected or no.
No need to apologize, after all what's the Blackberry Support Community for? ![]()
