App world problem

Everytime I try to use my app world on my phone it tells me that a blackberry ID update is needed yet when I click yes or no it just comes up, please wait, then does nothing and I have to remove my battery to unfreeze the screen.  Can anyone help.

KB29300 : " A BlackBerry identity Update is needed " message appears when lunching App World.

 

Please try it and let us know.

Hi

 

I tried it but unfortunately it is still saying I need an ID update to us my Blackberry App World.

 

If you know of any other way I could fix this problem it would be appreciated.

                       Are you getting the same message while lunching App World. Are you prompted  to download the BlackBerry Identity update when going to app world after deleting BlackBerry Identity.Also are able to use other services or applications of BlackBerry. Hi

 

Everytime I go to My World or try to download something in Blackberry App World it pops up I need a Blackberry ID update.

 

I have deleted Blackberry identity as you suggested and followed all instructions but it is still happeneing.

Yes I can still use all other services.

 

I will try that other thread.

Also after doing what you 1st suggested it actually updated my Blackberry ID but it didn@t solve it.

Which file  you are unable to open.


I had seen this problem with many user some are able to solve some are still unanswered.Do you have a wi-fi setup on your home or nearby if possible try that also.

 

But before that  are you running the latest version of app world.If not uninstall it and download the latest app world.First unstall it and then from your browser Download App world from here www.blackberry.com/appworld .

After installing App world Do a battery pull restart.then have a try.

Finally your 1st suggestion has worked :smileyhappy: I had to update my ID 3 times but it is now working.
