App world won't accept password

Hi, Hope someone can help us here. We have a password set on our playbook and when we use device manager it works fine. When we go to the app world and try and download something it asks for the user and password but constantly tells us the password is incorrect. we have changed the password to no avail. Any help would be gratefully received. Thanks.

The user name and password BlackBerry® App World would be requesting is your BlackBerry® ID. To better assist you; what is the full error message you receive?
