This works for me and I believe it will work for you too,I've been having issue of appworld icon missing on my phone for my OS5 to OS6,no matter what I've done it wonth work..the only version that works is V3.1.4.25 and I'm currently using it now..you too can salve this problem by visiting this site. and sellect anyone that runs on your OS version,belive me when I said it will work cos I did my research for weeks before I come across this site...kudos to who ever owns it.

Like I said it did not work for me and I believe there's other people here who still have the same issue till date...I've been using blackberry for long now and anytime I have any problem I always try to solve it my self.But when it comes for camera showing error,appworld missing after upgrade there's nothing I can do about it except to browse the web and searching for solutions...and that's how I come across this site which helps me to reinstall the version that I corrupt with this stinky version 4.0.0.63

The resolution is posted above, in in the link I posted.

1. Open the BlackBerry Browser on the BlackBerry smartphone.
2. Browse to http://mobileapps.blackberry.com/devicesoftware/entry.do?code=appworld3
3. After download, please restart your BlackBerry smartphone when prompted.
4. Verify that BlackBerry App World is located on the home screen.

After bout 20 different attempts of loading and reloading appworld without ever seeing d icon,, I finally succeded with ur help. Thanks.

Thank you so much. I have been trying for well over a month to restore appworld on my wife's BB9800.

Finally worked when I uninstalled appworld and reloaded with the link provided.
