Hi I'm new to the scene having only got my playbook yesterday. I downloaded a few free apps from appworld yesterday, but today I tried downloading overdrive but after getting error code (003-001) a couple of times it now says appworld is not available your country. I have tried a couple of other free apps with the same result. Any one able to help I would be grateful.

Well, what country are you in?

And, by chance are you connected to a different WiFi router than yesterday?

I'm in the UK, and using the same network connection as yesterday.

Odd, sometimes a WiFi router appears to be in a different country (by the IP Address) than it really is.

In your country settings on the Playbook, you do have UK chosen?

Try this, disconnect from that WiFI and reconnect and try AW again?

Hi I've checked my country it's set to UK and I've tried resetting wifi, restarting my pb and still no better.

Quick update, tried again this time from the blackberry website to access aw and it worked. Downloaded a couple of free apps to try it out and all have been successful. Bit strange but it's Christmas.
