I’m having trouble getting thru the blackberry app world setup. I just got a blackberry playbook for christmas and it went fine, but next it wants phone info and wont advance without it. I don't have a blackberry phone...AND... Why in the world would I have to pay for support for this issue ???

You don't have to pay for support. You get 90 days free. Give them a call at the number here:

What is asking you to pay? I'm not familar with any screen like that.

Thats what I'm trying to figure out. Are you getting that prompt from appworld? You don't have to pay anything there. Need a bit more detail to help narrow it down. The toll free number to playbook support is 1-877-644-8410. Did you call them? This is the first I've heard about having to pay something.
