If you are asked to upgrade to AppWorld version 4.0.0.63, don't. Make sure you download and install v4.0.0.55

YES! YES! YES!
Struggled an entire day to restore my AppWorld icon. Started with the batter pull, then tried to re-install AppWorld via the BB browser, then tried to re-install AppWorld via AppWorld web site on PC using Sync, then did security wipe of all apps. None worked.
It was only when I followed the instructions in the above entry post that I got the icon back and got my BB back on its feet. The problem for me was that version 4.0.63 would simply not work. When I went back down to 4.0.55 all was well! I guess like the BB itself, it's better for AppWorld to be stuck in the past!
