Hi. I had this update on my bb bold 9780 and aince I upgraded the installation, my bbw icon is gone! I do have the bbw version as per subject in the applications, but no icon. Nothing is hidden and my OS is up to date. Any help please?? Not sure if someone else also has this problem

You're not alone, several are experiencing this issue.

Some users have had luck with this fix:

• Go to Options > Advanced > Applications and scroll the AppWorld application and don't click on it, just scroll to it. Click Menu > Delete and remove the application.
• Now, do a reboot: With the BlackBerry device powered ON, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot.
• Finally, use your BlackBerry browser to go to www.blackberry.com/appworld and download/install the AppWorld application again.
• After installation and possibly another reboot, check your homescreen or another folder, or Downloads folder for the application.

I have done this procedure a few times already and still no icon...I have been struggling for 2 days now..

Hi, I have checked and followed all the steps that is mentioned earliuer today twice. My bb has no updates I have also checked that a few times. Even whatsapp bombed out now.

Belinda, you can download an older working version of AppWorld v4.0.0.55.

Hi. This worked! Seems as though 4.0.0.63 has a problem or bug or something?

Yes some glitch only on specific device models and operating system releases.
