I have a Storm 9530 and with the memory leak the phone has, I can't install any apps from BlackBerry App World without the phone becoming sluggish and freezing.
My question: Is there a way to backup applications or redownload them? That way I can buy as many apps as I like and swap them out when the occasion calls for it.
I thought I could redownload previously purchased apps by going to the tab "My World" but that isn't the case. Am I missing something? Ideas?

Using My World BlackBerry smartphone users can re-install purchased applications to the BlackBerry smartphone an unlimited number of times. BlackBerry smartphone users can also re-install purchased applications to a new BlackBerry smartphone up to three times a year.
If you plan on switching phones you can follow this article to transfer BlackBerry App World applications to it:

What applications have you downloaded?
Have you tried searching in other folders for the applications such as the Downloads folder?
What about Options -> Advanced-> Applications, do you see anything? You will not be able to install them from here, but you can view them.
